New Hyundai Santa Fe teaser photo shows slim lamps, chic grille

MANILA: Hyundai Motor is giving us a sneak peek of the fourth-generation Santa Fe with a photo showing a wide, sophisticated grille flanked by stylish T-shaped daytime running lights that cut right down the middle of new circular headlamps.

The vehicle’s façade is the latest example of the Korean automaker’s new Integrated Architecture.

By the looks of it, it should already be a brand-new model, but all indications point to a massive update that includes improvements the vehicle’s powertrain.

This will be the first SUV globally to use the all-new third-generation vehicle platform that allows it to incorporated a hybrid and plug-in hybrid system to complement the gasoline and diesel lineup.

The new platform also makes it possible to implement significant improvements in performance, handling and safety, as well as facilitating electrified powertrains.

It will also come with significant interior design updates to improve on its premium amenities and increase comfort level.
