New Mahindra Scorpio N features more in-car, off-road tech
MANILA: The Mahindra Scorpio is said to be one of the best-selling vehicles in India. Today, the Indian carmaker looks set to continue the sales success of the SUV with a new version called the Scorpio N.

First among these choices is a two-liter turbo gas engine delivering a maximum power of 203ps and a peak torque of 370Nm. This rear-wheel-drive mill is paired with a six-speed manual and automatic transmission.
A 2.2-liter diesel engine that generates 132ps and 300Nm of torque comes mated to a six-speed manual and rear-wheel-drive system.
Another 2.2-liter diesel engine makes more power at 175ps and 370Nm. Both manual and automatic transmission are available with this mill, along with a shift-on-fly 4WD drive system.

Design-wise, the 2022 Scorpio N modernizes the design traits associated with its predecessor. The butch old-school styling and the tall-boy silhouette is retained, but with now with added exterior highlights include that C-shaped LED DRLs, LED projector headlamps, a stepped-up roofline, and vertical tail lights.
Compared to its predecessor, the new Scorpio is also 206 millimeters longer and 97mm wider.
