The next-gen Ranger comes with various storage and organizing options to keep cargo secured, make fitting accessories a breeze, and even allow for DIY customization. For instance, owners can slide pieces of wood into gaps molded into the bedliner to form segmented DIY storage spaces.
The addition of six structural attachment points in the protective load box capping makes it easy for adventurers to fit accessories like canopy, cross bars, or a tent, proving that the next-gen Ranger is the most versatile ever.
The pickup is also designed with a rear load box access step for an easer climb into the cargo box.
The easy-lift tailgate, which can be raised and lowered with one hand, can also be used as a mobile workbench. Owners can use the tailgate work surface for both professional and DIY projects The tailgate’s two clamp pockets, which are concealed by spring-loaded caps, are designed to help hold wood or other project materials, and a built-in ruler with 10-mm increments makes measuring easy and convenient.
With the 400W and 12V sockets, owners can power various appliances by plugging directly into the Ranger. The 400W bed-mounted plug can power items like small oven, smartphone or laptop, rice cooker, and even a 24-inch LED TV and DVD combination.
The new drop-in bedliner also comes with functional divider locators, allowing owners to build their own compartments to store items that they might otherwise have to carry in the cabin.
The Ranger’s cargo box is the largest in its class, with a capacity of 1,233 liters, allowing customers to carry more.
The load box edges and tailgate upper edge are protected by a durable plastic box top and tailgate capping. With this, owners can put items into the cargo box without worrying about damaging the paint on the load box or tailgate’s top surface.
