Nissan PH sets launch of all-new Livina MPV on Sept. 6

MANILA: Nissan Philippines Inc. has confirmed the launch of the all-new Nissan Livina on Tuesday, September 6.

The Livina will be Nissan’s contender in the local MPV segment. The company described it as a “reliable family car” that will provide all-around comfort.

The Nissan Livina shares some features with the Mitsubishi Xpander as it is based on the popular MPV model.

The Nissan Livina will be available in three variants, all powered by the 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine found on Mitsubishi Xpander. If the upcoming Livina will have the same specifications as the one launched in Indonesia in 2019, then the engine can produce up to 104 hp and 141 Nm of torque, and will be mated to either a five-speed slushbox or a four-speed automatic.

In terms of design, the Nissan Livina features the signature V-Motion grille and a tail lamp design that is similar to the Xpander’s.

Nissan is expected to release more details, including the pricing, once the launch date draws near.
