Only 15 copies of the ultra-luxe Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Night Edition will be made

MANILA: On June 9, Mercedes-Benz revealed the new, exclusive Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Night Edition, which features distinct carbon fiber and black elements. The spectacular sedan is available as a 2020 model, and its production is limited only to 15 units.

The Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Night Edition features effortless power, unmatched comfort, and refined spaciousness to meet the sharpest standards.

The limited-edition sedan includes a handcrafted 6.0-liter V12 bi-turbo engine that generates 1001Nm of torque and 621hp. With this, the Maybach S 650 is considered the most powerful in the Mercedes-Maybach sedan range, and it can reach 97kph in only 4.6 ticks.

Its so-called Magic Body Control suspension consists of a camera that instantly keeps track of the road ahead to avoid dips and bumps proactively for a seamless driving experience. It also tends to lean into curves for more active handling.

The Night Edition also stands out due to significant features such as the shadow “smoked” 20-inch Maybach forged wheels, carbon fiber rear spoiler, and sophisticated interior carbon-fiber trim in the rear and front of the vehicle.

The Maybach S 650 sedan has an obsidian black exterior paint finish and exclusive Nappa leather upholstery in black and porcelain. The black trunk mat with porcelain edges and Night Edition leather floor mats complement the exterior paint color. Furthermore, the Night Edition emblems also embellish the interior trim and front fenders.

As a point of reference in the super-luxury line of the auto brand, the Mercedes-Maybach S 650 establishes new standards in its lavish interior. It includes features like rear-seat entertainment, extended interior and 64-color ambient lighting in the rear cabin, leather-covered seat consoles and door sills, a leather/wood steering wheel, rear and front seats with massage feature, power calf rests, and two executive rear seats forming a 43-degree reclining angle.

Other significant highlights of the Mercedes-Maybach are the Maybach lettering on the V12 radiator grille, dual 12.3-inch high-resolution displays combined underneath the glass panel, and rear and front ventilated and heated seats. It also features smartphone integration with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED-intelligent light system with adaptive high-beam assist and ultra-wide beam headlamps, Airmatic semi-active air suspension, and Burmester high-end 3D surround sound system.

For its driver assistance package, standout features such as the night view assist plus are present in the Maybach S 650 sedan.
