Pasig City launches website for transport concerns of residents
MANILA: Pasig City has launched a microsite that details information about its ‘Libreng Sakay’ program and other mobility concerns for its resident.
"To help you find the latest announcements and other transport-related information such as biking, free shuttle service around the City, we are launching the Pasig Transport microsite," the Pasig City government stated in a social media post over the weekend.
The transport microsite has updates on the operating hours and bus routes of Pasig's Libreng Sakay, info on how to use bike lanes and pinpoint locations of public bicycle racks for parking. City residents will also find video links, photos, and other reading materials on the latest transport-related programs, executive orders and other city ordinances.
Residents can also use the microsite to report any transport violation found within the city.
Libreng Sakay Service shuttles can be tracked and monitored via the mobile-based application sakay.ph.
The Pasig Transport Office has now fully complied with the Department of Transportation’s memorandum circular No. 2020-014, which mandates all passengers of public transportation to wear face shields on top of face masks effective on August 15, 2020.
