Porsche launches new Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid with 670 hp

MANILA: Porsche has launched the new Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid with an electrified powertrain that pushes out approximately 670 horsepower.

According to the German carmaker, the new Porsche Panamera packs a “fundamentally revised” four-liter V8 turbo engine that receives electronic boost from a newly-developed electric motor. On top of the said maximum power output, the said system offers peak torque at 930 Newton-meters.

Facilitating gear shifts is a “comprehensively redesigned” eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.

On paper, the Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid can sprint from zero to 100 kilometers per hour (kph) in just 3.2 seconds. Top speed is at 315kph.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid also packs a 25.9 kilowatt-hour battery that offers an estimated emissions-free driving range of around 91 kilometers — based on the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure cycle.

According to the Stuttgart-headquartered car brand, deliveries of the hybrid Porsche Panamera will begin in March 2024 in Europe.

The price will start from P11.684 million.
