Porsche Macan Turbo, Taycan Turbo GT star in short film alongside David Guetta

MANILA:  Porsche has teamed up with David Guetta to produce a short film featuring the Macan Turbo and Taycan Turbo GT. 

Dubbed Porsche presents: Speed of Light featuring David Guetta​, the said one minute and 48 second video is a new campaign by Porsche Middle East and Africa and features the French disc jockey and music producer’s “Titanium.” 

In the short video, the aforementioned nameplates are seen driving through Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. The Porsche Macan Turbo and Taycan Turbo GT are the German marque’s two latest all-electric models to hit the Middle Eastern market. 

“This collaboration is one of those things you dream of as a kid,” Guetta said in a press release. 

“Porsche has always stood for emotion, performance, and pushing the limits, just like my music. Being part of this project has truly inspired me,” he added.

“The most powerful production Porsche of all time is the Taycan Turbo GT with a limited-time peak power output of more than 1,100 hp,” Porsche commented. 

“The model version with the Weissach package, which is consistently designed for the racetrack, recently set a record for the fourth time and on the fourth continent: After setting records on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in California and the Shanghai International Circuit, it also achieved a record time for electric cars on the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo,” the company noted.
