Porsche PH launches all-new Panamera

MANILA: Porsche Philippines has unveiled the latest generation of the Panamera.

In a statement, PGA Cars (the Stuttgart-headquartered marque's arm in the Philippines) said that the luxury sedan’s third-generation offering is offered with "advanced digital features, luxurious comfort, and exhilarating performance."

Powering the all-new Porsche Panamera in rear-wheel-drive format is a 2.9-liter V6 turbo engine that has the capacity to give a maximum churn of 348 horsepower and 500 Newton-meters of torque.

The mill, which lets the vehicle go 100 kilometers per hour (kph) from rest in 5.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 272 kph, is paired with an eight-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung transmission with paddle shifters.

Providing the all-new Porsche Panamera’s distinct note is its exhaust system with twin single-tube tailpipes in brushed stainless steel.

According to Porsche Philippines, the powertrain has been improved to optimize fuel consumption without compromising performance.

Guaranteeing comfort and stability is the car’s dual-chamber two-valve air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard while its stopping comes from the aluminum monobloc fixed calipers (360-millimeter [mm> six-piston at the front and 330 mm four-piston internally vented and slotted type for the rear).

The third-generation Porsche Panamera retained the model’s iconic silhouette but has an enhanced overall sporty design as it has been outfitted with redesigned bumpers, front air intakes and a sleek rear window line. Such features improved the vehicle's aerodynamics and visual appeal. 

Additionally, the model comes with standard matrix LED headlights and sits on standard 19-inch alloys, 20-inch Panamera Turbo, or 21 Panamera Exclusive wheels.

Meanwhile, its Porsche Driver Experience cockpit concept has been meticulously designed to make sure that essential controls are within reach — ensuring intuitive operation with less distractions.

Its cabin is mostly covered with luxurious materials such as Nappa leather,  that blends comfort and fashion.

The all-new Panamera V6 has abundant technological features like the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) for seamless connectivity and digital interaction.

Other amenities that can be found in the all-new Porsche Panamera include infotainment include the 10.9 Apple CarPlay- and Android Auto-ready infotainment system consisting 10.9-inch passenger display and 12.9-inch central display. This is mated to a 14-speaker Bose Surround sound system.

Further, it also comes with a four-zone automatic climate control, as well as the electric roll-up sunblinds behind the  rear compartment and rear side windows.

The pricing of the all-new Porsche Panamera is around P12.85 million.
