Porsche showcases bespoke Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid

MANILA: Porsche has showcased a bespoke version of the third-generation Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid.

Based on the Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, the automobile was ordered by a client through the German carmaker’s Sonderwunsch program, where customers can request to have their cars customized by an in-house team.

The abovementioned Porsche Sonderwunsch program can cater to a wide range of personalization options from blending and crafting a custom color to building unique one-off models.

To recall, Blackpink’s Jennie had her Taycan 4S Cross Turismo personalized through the same program.

“Our customers value the option of adding their personal touch to the design of their car. The Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch based on the new Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid shows how flexibly and precisely we can fulfill these wishes as a vision of a customer’s dream. Specially created color tones, individual accents, and planning down to the last detail have transformed the Panamera into a genuinely unique car,” said Porsche Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing Detlev von Platen.

“This one-off car will inspire people to make their own very personal dream of a highly individual Panamera a reality,” he added.

The exterior of the Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch boasts a two-tone finish dubbed Leblon Violet Metallic, which has a violet color tone with a hint of chestnut.

Folks from the Style Porsche and Exclusive Manufaktur units reportedly used an elaborate production technique to make the striking custom-made finish fade into a solid black in the lower third of the car.

On that note, the Panamera Turbo Sonderwunsch dons solid black door sills and front and rear spoiler lips to complement the “fade-to-black” effect of the exclusive paint.

Further, tinted headlights, taillights, and windows provide a continuation of the said theme. The tailpipes, on the other hand, are in Bronzite.

To express both style and luxury, Porsche used a clear coat that contains flakes vaporized with real gold to create a premium look with depth effect.

In addition, the exterior also features pinstripes in the newly developed color called Avium Metallic with an integrated Sonderwunsch logo.

Likewise, the face of the 21-inch center-locking rims and the frames of the side windows are finished in Avium Metallic.

As for the interior, those interested might have to wait until next year to see what the cabin of the one-off Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid would look like.

“The exterior of the car has been designed by experts from the Style Porsche and Exclusive Manufaktur units. The interior has been deliberately left unfinished until next year,” von Platen explained.
