Range Rover Sport SV Celestial Collection breaks cover

MANILA: Land Rover has unleashed the Range Rover Sport SV Celestial Collection, a limited collection of five luxury sport utility vehicles (SUV) inspired by ancient mythology and the cosmos.

To note, Land Rover Philippines has introduced the Range Rover Sport in the country sometime in 2022.

Per the British car brand, the exclusive bespoke collection offers a sophisticated and refined vision of modern luxury. The five-car compendium consists of the Gaea, Theia, Io, Vega, and Sol Curations.

“The cosmos is a transcendent theme that crosses boundaries, fascinating and uniting people globally. It’s a theme that feels appropriate for the first collection for the Range Rover Sport SV – embodying modern luxury design, while pushing the boundaries of the British originality Range Rover is famed for,” Range Rover Materiality Manager Phoebe Lindsay stated.

“The idea of mystery and intrigue from the celestial sky was key – the symbolism you can find throughout the collection draws a deeper meaning. These stories have been carefully considered to reflect the exemplary tastes of our clients,” she added.

Range Rover Sport SV Gaea Curation

The Range Rover Sport SV Gaea Curation draws inspiration from the goddess and personification of earth. On that note, it sports a Green Terre Matte exterior finish complementing a slanted symbol representing a wave against land.

Other notable exterior design elements include a Satin Forged Carbon Fiber tailpipe, Carbon Bronze ceramic brake calipers, as well as a Narvik Black roof and mirrors. The scripts worn by the Range Rover Sport SV Gaea Curation have a Graphite Atlas inner and Narvik Black outer.

Inside, the unique piece can be had in two colorways, which are a Caraway Windsor leather with Kvadrat steelcut backboards, Natural Brown Silver Birch wooden finishers and a tonal stitch, or a leather-free Ebony and Cinder Grey with a matching steering wheel and Natural Black-Silver Birch wooden finishers.

Range Rover Sport SV Theia Curation

On the other hand, the Range Rover Sport SV Theia Curation is based on a titaness — the daughter of Uranus and Gaea. Associated with sight and shimmering light, this unique creation flaunts a warm-toned Ilmenite Grey Satin paintwork (inspired by the moon) with a hint of metallic flake.

Notable is its set of 23-inch forged wheels in champagne gold, which are complemented by black carbon ceramic brake calipers.

The cabin of the Range Rover Sport SV Theia Curation gets Grand Black gloss finishers on its headrests and console. Meanwhile, its bespoke Ebony and Ecru Windsor leather upholstery features a Kvadrat steelcut backboard.

Also available is a mix of Ebony and Pimento Windsor Leather with additional Pimento contrast binding on the carpet mats.

Rounding up its distinctive interior features is a satin forged carbon fiber finisher in the center console, which shimmers beautifully in the light.

Range Rover Sport SV Io Curation

Io, for those who do not know, is an Argive princess who is considered the ancestor of Perseus, slayer of Medusa.

Having been one of the mortal lovers of Zeus (whose Roman name is Jupiter), her name has been used for one of the volcanoes — and the most active one at that — for the planet Jupiter.

That said, the Range Rover Sport SV Io Curation wears a Cyllene Gloss exterior finish. The distinctive, bright, and sophisticated orange paint is reminiscent of Io’s surface, which constantly undergoes volcanic change.

It rides on 23-inch Twill carbon fiber gloss wheels complimented by bespoke silver carbon ceramic brake calipers. The luxury SUV also gets gloss twill carbon fiber tailpipes and carbon script badging.

The interior of the Range Rover Sport SV Io Curation comes with Ebony and Lunar Windsor upholstery with seats that have three-dimensional knitting. The seat backboards and seat collar bezels are finished with Satin Twill carbon fiber trims.

Conversely, it can be optioned with an Ebony and Rosewood interior featuring Rosewood leather — across the seats, center console, and door armrests — with a Satin Twill Carbon Fiber finisher.

Range Rover Sport SV Vega Curation

The Range Rover Sport SV Vega Curation is inspired by the Lyra constellation. Hence, it dons plenty of blue elements. Further, its name Vega — altered from the Arabic al-nasr al-wāqi (the descending eagle) — is written on the vehicle with the downwards wing-like symbol.

It wears a Verrier Blue exterior finish and an exposed Carbon Fiber Twill Gloss hood. The latter has also been used for its script badging, tailpipes, and set of 23-inch wheels with Nano Yellow carbon ceramic brake calipers.

As with other models in the Celestial Collection, the Range Rover Sport SV Vega Curation would-be owners can choose from two different cabin colors.

The first one has light Ebony and Perlino leather seats, featuring the symbol on the headrests, complemented by a Natural Cream Ash Burr finisher on the cupholders. The second one has leather-free Raven Blue and Ebony upholstery, which features a tonal stitch with Raven Blue binding on the carpet mats, and a Natural Black Birch finisher.

Both interior options get Ebony Kvadrat Steelcut backboards on the seats.

Range Rover Sport SV Sol Curation

Finally, the Range Rover Sport SV Vega Curation was derived from the sun: a powerful symbol of life and divinity.

It is finished with a distinctive Aurora Yellow gloss exterior paired with a Narvik Gloss black roof and mirrors. It rides on 23-inch Forged Black wheels with Blue Nebula carbon ceramic brake calipers and boasts Satin Forged Carbon exterior accents and tailpipes.

Inside, it gets Navy Windsor leather with Light Cloud contrast stitching with matching carpet mats. Alternatively, it can be had with a leather-free Ebony interior with Nano-Yellow stitching as well as satin forged carbon fiber seat backboards and finisher.
