Suzuki S-Presso vs. Toyota Wigo: Dimensions
What does this all mean? It means less legroom and shoulder room for the S-Presso. And given that both compact vehicles accommodate five passengers, the Suzuki hatch will be a tighter squeeze. On the other hand, Pinoy buyers who are more than the average 5’5” tall will not find the Wigo a comfortable ride. Not just because of the compact size, but the headroom will be a problem. Given the fact that both cars have the same ground clearance, the S-Presso has a better headspace by as much as 45 mm.
Suzuki S-Presso vs. Toyota Wigo: Exterior
For the Toyota Wigo, it looks like your typical hatchback. It has a classic and very straightforward design. But despite the simplistic exterior, it does boast of added trims like front fog lights and robust air dam at the front. At the rear is a massive spoiler with an LED stop lamp.

Suzuki S-Presso vs. Toyota Wigo: Engine
The Suzuki S-Presso is powered by a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder, 12-valve engine that delivers a decent 67 hp of power and 90 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with no option for an automatic, at least for now. This Suzuki engine is more powerful than the Toyota’s 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder in-line, 12-valve, DOHC with VVT-I engine that churns out 65 Hp of output and 89 Nm of torque. However, the difference is not that significant and both cars can adequately perform as you navigate your way on the packed roads of the Metro.

Suzuki S-Presso vs. Toyota Wigo: Price
In terms of variants and prices, the Suzuki S-Presso is only available in one model and has a suggested retail price of Php 518,000. On the other hand, the Toyota Wigo is offered in three different models. Below is the price matrix for S-Presso and Wigo.
Suzuki S-Presso vs. Toyota Wigo: Verdict
When it comes to safety and affordability, the Suzuki S-Presso is hands down, the winner as it gives you more value for your money. It is perfect for people eyeing to buy their starter car. This is especially true if you are eyeing to buy a family car, as the S-Presso is more child-friendly than the Wigo with ISOFIX feature which lets you attach your child safety seat in place. Also, if you want the rugged look of a crossover to reflect your outdoorsy personality, then the Suzuki S-Presso will be more suited for you. But if you like the classic, clean look of the sedan and interior comforts to go with it, then the Toyota Wigo is more suited for you.
