Toyota Indonesia unveils all-new Innova Zenix with petrol engine and hybrid options
MANILA: The latest generation of the Toyota Innova was officially launched in Indonesia. The highly anticipated all-new Toyota Innova Zenix underwent a total makeover. As previously reported, the latest generation of Toyota Innova has conventional and hybrid petrol engine options.

There is no confirmation yet from Toyota Motor Philippines whether the Toyota Innova Zenix will be available here.According to Toyota Innova Chief Engineer Hideki Mizuma, the concept of the all-new Innova is “Innovative Multipurpose Crossover.” He said that their goal was to develop a versatile crossover with the space and utility of a minivan with global values. Mizuma describes the all-new Toyota Innova Zenix as a car for a new era, inheriting the DNA of a vehicle that has long been loved by the public and has undergone various improvements.
The launch of the all-new Toyota Innova Zenix marks the first electrification model for Toyota Indonesia to be produced in Indonesia. The appearance has changed significantly, featuring a bold crossover style. The Toyota Innova Zenix features the exterior concept of “Glamorous and Tough,” combining curves and body sculptures that are both elegant and rugged.
The Toyota Innova Zenix is underpinned by the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA): GA-C platform with a monocoque structure that enhances driving comfort.
Both the petrol and hybrid variants of the all-new Toyota Innova Zenix rely on a 2.0-liter engine. The hybrid variant comes with the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System. The Toyota Innova Zenix gets a 10-speed Direct Shift Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).
The interior also received modern upgrades. It comes with a new panoramic retractable roof, new captain seats with ottoman, a 10-inch head unit with smartphone connectivity, and new 10-inch dual rear seat entertainment.
The all-new Toyota Innova Zenix also comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, a semi-autonomous safety device that relies on advanced sensors and radar.
Pricing for the all-new Toyota Innova Zenix ranges from IDR 419 million to IDR 614 million (approximately P1.5 million to P2.2 million).
There is no confirmation yet from Toyota Motor Philippines whether the Toyota Innova Zenix will be available here, but we're hoping that Filipinos will get to experience the hybrid version of the best-selling MPV in the country.
