Toyota Innova Touring Sport now available in the Philippines

MANILA: One of the best-sellers of Toyota has recently been spiced up with a sportier version. Yes, the Touring Sport variant of Innova has been finally launched in the local market at a base price of Php 1,275,000. The Touring Sport is for those who wish to have the utility and comfort of an MPV alongside the sporty characters of an SUV.

What makes the Toyota Innova Touring Sport different from its other variants is its sleeker and eye-catching finish which immediately gains the attention of the onlookers. The distinguishing elements include a slightly tweaked front as well as rear bumpers, a chin spoiler, diffuser and fog light trim accents. To further spice up the overall profile of the MPV,  there are 16-inch alloy wheels and chrome finish on the front grille.

Apart from jazzed up styling, there is no compromise on the list of standard features which include touchscreen audio display, reverse parking sensors, multi-info display and anti-theft system. Considering the powertrain of the Touring Sport, it is pumped by a 2.8-litre 1GD-FTV turbo-diesel mill that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 171 PS at 3600 rpm and peak torque of 360 Nm at 1200-3400 rpm. The engine is further mated to either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Touring Sport will be available in Freedom White, Blue Mica Metallic, Thermalyte, and Red Mica Metallic. For the manual version, you have to shell Php 1,275,000 while the automatic has a sticker price of Php 1,355,000.
