Prior to the scheduled introduction, the next-generation Toyota Tamaraw was last previewed at the 9th Philippine International Motor Show and was presented to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. To recall, it was the former chief executive that first announced TMP’s plans to bring back the iconic nameplate.

Last May, the Japanese marque’s local distributor presented before select members of the motoring media the panel van, closed van, dropside, and patrol van body configurations, showcasing the vehicle’s versatility. Reservations for the said model started in the third quarter of 2024.
