Toyota Prius New Cool Automotive Paint Technology: A Fuel & Energy Savior
MANILA: Toyota Motor Corporation is a Japanese automaker, which holds its strong foundation from past 78 years. It feels proud to be the first brand in the world to be crowned with the production of 10 million automobiles each year. Since the commencement of this year, this brand has revealed its various new model line-ups and technological implementations. Firstly, it came up with the news of adapting Ford's Smart Device Link connectivity, then it surprised its admirers with the introduction of 2016 Toyota Innova. The new Toyota Innova is said to be equipped with the options of a 2.0L and 2.8L engine with the power production of 136 PS and 171 PS respectively. This was not the end of the surprises, as it is has now offered its fanatics with something revolutionary indeed. This out of the box concept is all about a new cool automotive paint technology, which is believed to save fuel and energy.
With the trend of creating something Eco-friendly and innovative, Toyota has just struck the right cord. Under this technology in consideration, it functions in such a manner that it keeps the car cool from inside without having much requirement of a air conditioner. This process is possible owing to the fact that it repels the sun rays, which also helps in keeping the fuel levels under minimum and efficient usage. This is supposed to be exactly termed as the “Reflective Car Paint.” The color is described as a Thermo-Tect Bright Green shade, which actually possesses titanium oxide particles instead of carbon black (believed to absorb heat). In addition, there is another positive point attached to this Solar Reflective Paint, that it will make itself very much noticeable from distance. This could be another way to prevent accidents and the pedestrians will be able to pave their way feasibly. This model will stand in stiff competition with Tesla and Nissan. It is interesting to note that Tesla and Nissan Leaf had launched a similar concept like this earlier. Though the color choice was limited to the shades of grey and white.
This technology has been graced for the country, specifically Japan. Also, it is perceived that it will support this region in reducing the CO2 emission levels by approximately 210,000 tons per year. Certain automakers seem to be inspired by this technology and have implemented in their regions too. However, it is something entirely brand new, and we are quite hopeful that the Philippines automotive world will be bestowed with the same soon. It seems to be very promising, and will hopefully reach the desired success levels.
