Two-tone Chery Tiggo 2 now available with P20K down payment

MANILA: Chery Auto Philippines, official country distributor of the Chinese car brand, launches a promo on two-tone finishes for its subcompact crossover Tiggo 2.

The two-tone variant is available at P795,000, and for as low as P20,000 down payment. The Chery Tiggo 2 also comes in 1.5 M/T (P695,000) and 1.5 A/T (P770,000) variants. The model also boasts low monthly plans.

Available in six monotone exterior colors, the Tiggo 2 can now also be ordered in unique combinations of blue with black top, red with black top, and orange with black top. The new black-top finishes match the black trim found on the Tiggo 2's front and rear bumpers, window pillars, rear spoiler, fender openings, and rocker panels, giving the car “a sportier and more upscale feel.” This variant also gets 16-inch light alloy wheels with two-tone black and silver finish.

The two-tone theme continues in the cabin with special orange stitching and orange accents on the black upholstered seats. 

Under the hood of the Tiggo 2 is a powerful yet fuel-efficient DOHC 16-valve EFI Euro 5-compliant 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. The Tiggo 2 has a 2,555mm wheelbase, and features dynamic headlights with LED daytime running lights and C-shaped taillights. Its aerodynamic body design is marked by a spoiler on the front bumper, side skirts, and a rear wing. 

An ergonomic dashboard has an integrated central console, and the Tiggo 2 gets 420 liters of cargo space — expandable via 40:60 split-folding rear seats and 21 individual storage spaces found throughout the cabin. 

Its eight-inch full HD touchscreen features smartphone screen mirroring, and is also compatible with Android and Apple devices. The Tiggo 2's display supports HD images and videos. The system also has a USB port, for added flexibility to access files such as documents, pictures, music and video. The Tiggo 2's touchscreen also turns into a reverse radar/reverse image with dynamic guidelines. 

Tiggo 2 is also equipped with hill hold control (HHC), which prevents the vehicle from rolling backwards on an uphill incline, as well as electronic stability control (ESC), which helps ensure vehicle control on slippery roads. 

A speeding alarm system allows the driver to set a certain speed between 40 to 120kph to prevent unintended overspeeding, which also comes with the M/T shift reminder to ensure smooth and fuel-efficient driving. The Tiggo 2 also comes with an automatic real-time tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). 

For added value to owners, the Chery Auto PH App is now available for download on the Google Play Store for Android smartphones, with an iOS version for iPhones to follow soon.
