Updated Isuzu mu-X makes covert PH debut

MANILA: In the middle of 2022, Isuzu gave the updated mu-X its Thailand debut, and recently, Isuzu Philippines just imported the updated SUV into the nation. There was neither a formal introduction for the well-liked SUV, thus it was a covert debut.

2023 Isuzu mu-X Prices and Variants

The updated mu-X saw slight price increases across its five variants.

• Isuzu mu-X 1.9 LS AT 4x2 – P1,650,000 (+P60,000).
• Isuzu mu-X LS-A 1.9 MT 4x2 – P1,815,000 (+P45,000).
• Isuzu mu-X 3.0 LS-A AT 4x2 – P1,945,000 (+P45,000).
• Isuzu mu-X 3.0 LS-E AT 4x2 – P2,155,000 (+P55,000)
• Isuzu mu-X 3.0 LS-E AT 4x4 – P2,505,000 (+P55,000)

2023 Isuzu mu-X Exterior

Twenty-inch alloy wheels and a new, sleek two-tone front grille give the 2023 Isuzu mu-X an energizing new exterior look appropriate for the "Premium Family SUV" label. Also, Isuzu unveils a brand-new, sophisticated hue called Norwegian Blue for that overall refreshed appearance that will undoubtedly draw attention on the road.

2023 Isuzu mu-X Features

The new Isuzu mu-X is packed with intuitive family features like its new Smart Power Tailgate with Step Sensor. It is a new feature that allows its owners to open its tailgate automatically through its advanced key detection and sensor technology, making it more convenient for owners to load and unload their baggage.

The Isuzu mu-X, which received a five-star rating from ASEAN NCAP, is outfitted with a category-leading Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) to ensure safe driving. This, together with the 2021 Auto Focus People's Choice Award for SUV of the Year and the 2022 Auto Focus Media's Choice Award for Best Engine Performance, show that the mu-X is still one of the most dependable and trusted family cars available today.

2023 Isuzu mu-X Performance

For the 2023 model year, there are no changes to the engine options. The 1.9-liter RZ4-E engine, which produces 148 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, is used in the mu-X LS AT and LS-A MT models. A 3.0 liter with 188 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque is also offered for greater power. All variations employ a six-speed automatic transmission, with the exception of the LS-A MT. Four-wheel drive is exclusively available to the top model.
