Volkswagen Passat 2015 Previewed to Media before Launch
MANILA: Philippines has been long waiting for the Volkswagen all-new sedan vehicle, Passat 2015. And guess what, happy news is just around the corner, as VW Philippines recently organized a sneak peek night for selected media personalities. Looks like the German car-maker is a bit reluctant about its new creation and wants to get the approval of the who's who of the critics world first.
The all-new Passat will be soon making its Philippines debut that is scheduled to take place on 21st October, so fellow countrymen, if buying a car is your next big plan then wait a bit more as the classic beast wrapped in the best clothes is near arrival. Crowned as the 2015 European car of the year, Passat is equipped with the best of the world luxuries and comfort. Volkswagen has created a true German car that showcases the leading technology and great performance.
It carries some stunning looks that one can die for, dimension figures are mountain high (sedan standards) that truly makes it a big-big car. On the front, it is bestowed with a long super smooth bonnet, sleek LED headlamps with daytime running light and a three plate chrome grille. The side profile is fitted with body-colored door handles, and the curvy wheel arches were 18-inch alloy wheel rest. The rear side features a prominent bumper that it further beautified by stylish tail lamps.
As you step inside, the black and chrome sprayed interior looks inviting and will surely capture your attention. The dashboard is armed with a never seen before air-con vent design that runs to the entire front area. The big binnacle panel and three-spoked steering wheel with utility buttons increase the cars functioning. Moving to the center console, Passat now gets an Active Information Display that is efficient with functions like GPS navigation, Smartphone connectivity, and entertainment unit. 14-way adjustable front seats with an integrated driver massager and tri-zone climate control system will make your journey comfortable and hassle-free.
Under the hood, Volkswagen initially plans to power the 2015 Passat with a 2.0-litre petrol engine and at a later stage a TDI turbo diesel engine is also expected to join. The gasoline engine is capable of producing maximum power of 220 horsepower when coupled with a six-speed dual clutch transmission. The sedan will offer a four-wheel drive and is also infused with five driving modes – Eco, Sport, Comfort, Normal, and Individual. Passat is engineered to be a green car as it will now consume less fuel and less CO2 output, VW Blue Motion Technology is behind this healthy scenario.

Future prospective buyers Please Note- The all-new Volkswagen Passat will come straight from Wolfsburg city of Germany to your country on 21st next month, also you can choose from two distinct trim levels that are named as High Line and Business line. Price Chart will display figures with range PhP 2,250,000 to PhP 2,750,000.
