Volvo PH gets safety seal from DOLE
MANILA: Volvo Philippines has recently received a Safety Seal Certification from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). This certification signifies Volvo’s commitment to ensuring strict observation of health and safety protocols in and around the company’s premises.
The Volvo headquarters in Makati is now a certified safe spot for customers who would like to visit the showroom and service center. The company has exerted an effort to earn the certification to assure clients that they can safely view and test drive the wide range of Volvo models in the market.
In cooperation with the government’s efforts to curb the COVID-19 pandemic, Volvo Philippines subjected itself to a voluntary certification program in conformity with public health standards. This move also aims to support the contract tracing efforts of StaySafe.ph.
When the pandemic first hit in 2020, Volvo Philippines launched the Volvo Concierge, a client-centric program that offered technical assistance online. The Volvo showroom and service center were also transformed to adapt with the new normal.
In a statement, Volvo Marketing Head Christopher Yu said, “We want our customers to feel that legendary care for people that Volvo is known for through the service and structural changes that we have taken. With the Safety Seal certification, we want our clients to feel even safer when they come over for a visit.”
Volvo has now opened its doors for customers to see the dynamic range of Volvos on display, including the XC40, XC60, XC90, and the luxurious S90.
Up to P1 million worth of discounts are also currently offered on select S90 and XC90 plug-in hybrid models through Volvo’s “Seasons of Savings” promo.
