Volvo PH to highlight Boost Hybrid range at 2022 MIAS

MANILA: Volvo Philippines has detailed the highlights of its Volvo Boost Hybrid Range, which the company will present in its Volvo Retail booth at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS). 

Vehicles in the Volvo Boost Hybrid range are powered by a four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine, 48-volt battery, and  Integrated Starter Generator (ISG).

The gas engine produces 313hp and 460Nm of torque, while the battery and ISG support the combustion engine for reduced fuel consumption and tailpipe emissions. The battery receives charge through recovered braking energy. 

For their exterior, the Volvo Boost Hybrid range will wear full LED rear lamps that offer enhanced visibility. Inside, the cabin details are promised to give occupants a tactile and sensory experience. 

As for features, these Volvo vehicles will be equipped with advanced air purifier in Volvo’s world-first air quality system, and various connectivity, comfort, and safety equipment, Volvo Philippines claimed.
