2018 Honda Click 125i and 150i launched

MANILA: Honda Philippines has recently updated its much-acclaimed Click series with the 2018 version. Yes, the 2018 Honda Click 125i and Honda Click 150i were launched at a press conference on Saturday. The event took place at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City where limited guests from media along with few customers were invited.

Apart from introducing the updated version of Click 125i and Click 150i, Honda also awarded the winners of 7-Eleven’s Awesome Ride 2 Promotion with all-new Click 125i bikes. Considering the changes adorn by the 2018 Click 125i, it now features a bold design with an all-new LED lighting system. This system consists of position lights, headlights, tail lights, front and rear blinkers. Honda has named it ‘Dual Keen’ design. No major change has been done on the rest of the body apart from new decals and sporty muffler with an aluminium end cap.

Under the refreshed skin is the same 125cc, liquid-cooled, PGM-Fi engine that delivers 8.2kW of maximum power at 8500 rpm and 10.8 Nm of peak torque at 5000 rpm. The engine is further backed by Enhanced Smart Power and an ACG starter. According to Honda, the updated version of Click 125i now comes with a mileage of 53 kmpl, however, the real figure will be revealed once it hits the road. Some of the other additions include a full digital meter panel, Park Brake Lock and Combi Brake System. Even the utility quotient of the Click 125i has been improved with the introduction of utility box under the seat that has a storage capacity of 18-litre.

The 2018 Honda Click 125i price starts from Php 74,900 and is available in four color options - Vivid Blue Metallic, Space Magenta Metallic, Anchor Gray Metallic, and Nitric Orange.

Coming to the 2018 Click 150i, it also features a new design with 3D emblem and exclusive color to differentiate it from the younger sibling. It also gets the technical updates same as the Click 125i. The engine is the 150cc, liquid-cooled, PGM-Fi with Enhanced Smart Power, ACG Starter and idling stop system. It is capable of churning out 9.7kW maximum power at 8500 rpm and peak torque of 13.4 Nm at 5000 rpm. The claimed fuel economy of 2018 Click 150i is 52 kmpl.

Some of the exclusive features of 2018 Honda Click 150i include keyless lock and unlock, ignition on/off, anti-theft alarm, smart key system and an answer back system. The 2018 Click 150i priced at Php 95,000 and is offered in four color - Pearl Fadeless White, Matte Solar Red Metallic, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Matte Crypton Silver Metallic.
