2020 Honda Pilipinas Dream Cup Tryouts happening on December 14

MANILA: Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the country, is gearing up for the 2020 edition of the Honda Pilipinas Dream Cup (HPDC).

For the tryouts, participants will all use a Honda CBR150R with MotoGP DNA, specifically designed for precision performance for full-trail blazing action without the hassle of slowing down for that uncompromised racing experience.

According to Hervic Villa, Department Manager of Motorcycle Planning Office, “Young riders should not pass on this opportunity to experience and participate in the thrilling Honda tryouts race, for it opens doors to various opportunities, including high-ranking local and international competitions.”

The tryouts for the 2020 Honda Pilipinas Dream Cup is open for young riders between 10 to 17 years of age. For those interested to become a Honda racer, fill up an application form that you may download online at Honda Philippines’ official Facebook page or via their website. Application for the tryouts started last October 25th and will end on November 25th. Shortlisted applicants will be posted on November 28, 2019.

At the moment, 14 years old Alfred Jakob Sablaya has a guaranteed spot on the 2020 Honda racing event after winning the championship trophy this year. He is also set to fly to Malaysia for the Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup Tryouts at Sepang Go-Kart Race Track in Sepang, Selangor.

The racing event organized by Honda Philippines is part of their “One Dream” campaign that aims to unite motorcycle riders and empower the motorsports in the country through fun-filled activities like the HPDC.

The Honda Pilipinas Dream Cup tryouts will be held on December 14, 2019, at the Clark International Speedway in the City of Mabalacat, Pampanga.
