MANILA: The 2022 Suzuki Avenis, also known as the "Muscular Sporty Scooter," combines style and functionality to satisfy the needs of every rider. The 2022 Suzuki Avenis is the brand-new, most fuel-efficient vehicle from Suzuki, and it is perfect for everyone who wants to travel, go on an adventure, or work.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What powers the 2022 Suzuki Avenis?

The Suzuki Eco Performance all-aluminum, 125cc Fuel Injection engine powers the 2022 Suzuki Avenis.
  • How much fuel did the 2022 Suzuki Avenis consumed in this fun ride?

The 2022 Suzuki Avenis achieved 55 and 56kpl in a ride from from Laguna to Tagaytay to Batangas.
  • To test this newest and highly anticipated scooter, the 2022 Suzuki Avenis trip brought together several Suzuki Club presidents for a 220-kilometer journey from Laguna to Tagaytay to Batangas and back.

The group arrived at the picturesque Stilts Calatagan Beach Resort after a lengthy ride. It demonstrated the Suzuki Eco Performance, all-aluminum, 125cc Fuel Injection engine that powers the 2022 Suzuki Avenis. Everyone was astounded that the scooter took Southern roads on just one liter of petrol while riding through a variety of terrain, road, and weather conditions.

“The objective really of this drive is to validate the test that we did on our new Avenis,” Nenuka Guba, Motorcycle Marketing Manager of Suzuki Philippines Incorporated, explained.

“We have received our official numbers coming from Suzuki Global that says the fuel efficiency of the Avenis is 54 kilometers per liter which we were actually able to validate through our own studies and is also echoed by our friends here who joined us at this ride.”

The 2022 Suzuki Avenis's safe and comfortable features were also used by the riders, who said that the bike did not tire them out at all and kept the journey pleasurable.

Yung Avenis less stress, madali siya gamitin. Malakas ang hatak niya! For sure magugustuhan ito ng mga commuters (The Avenis is easy to use and has strong pulling power! Surely, commuters will like these qualities), said Tristan Simeon, President of Thunder Rider Organization of the Philippines.

Simeon incidentally got the most mileage when he finished the distance with an average of 56.1 kilometers per liter.

He was closely followed by Opalyn Canlas, Club Officer of Suzuki NEX Club Riders after she averaged 55.3 kilometers per liter. The club member found that the 2022 Suzuki Avenis is light to ride, and with a right seat height and seat width.

Even concerns for how the Avenis would fare on an ascent, downhill slope, curve and long flat road were set aside after the riders completed the long but equally relaxing drive.

“Perfect yung Avenis since nagtataas ang mga gasolina. Sobrang tipid niyang gamitin. May power siya, may comfort, so style niya very masculine and high tech. Kumbaga lahat ng kailangan sa dashboard andoon na (The Avenis is fuel-efficient, powerful, comfortable, and has masculine looks. The dashboard also gives the ride all essential information),” said Dionisio Aguinaldo lll, President of Suzuki Hayate Club Philippines.

Due to the pandemic, the participants of the tour had been separated for a while. They were able to rekindle old connections and form new ones during this journey.
