4 Honda PCX160 units raffled off to Foodpanda delivery partners

MANILA: Four lucky Foodpanda partner riders have each won a brand-new Honda PCX160 unit from the company’s “Sa-10 ‘to Ka-panda, Isang Dekadang Pasasalamat” raffle contest.

The Singapore-based delivery service provider organized the aforementioned raffle to celebrate its 10th Anniversary in the Philippines. The event was live-streamed on Facebook and was exclusive to “Ka-panda” riders. 

As per Foodpanda Rider Experience Lead Ron Sanders, the raffle is the company’s way of acknowledging the hard work of its delivery partners. 

“Celebrating our 10th birthday would not be possible without recognizing the dedication of our Ka-pandas nationwide. We prepared a variety of prizes for them that can help them in their daily delivery routines, pati na rin sa kanilang mga pamilya (also for their families),” Sanders said. 

For those curious, the Honda PCX160 is powered by a 157cc engine capable of producing up to 15.8 horsepower. It also features electric starting, disc brakes, a continuously variable transmission, and a ground clearance of 134-millimeters. 

Pricing for the Philippine-spec PCX160 starts at P131,900 for the Combi-Brake System (CBS) variant and goes up to P149,900 for the version with anti-lock braking (ABS). 

Besides the 10th anniversary raffle, Foodpanda also held the “Ka-panDAD’s Salo-Salo” dinner party to celebrate Father’s Day. It was mainly attended by partner riders hailing from Baguio and La Trinidad, Benguet. 

According to the logistics company, the aforementioned dinner party was a way to honor and provide a relaxing but fun experience for its hardworking Foodpanda rider partners, who are also fathers.
