Honda PH launches all-new Dio scooter
MANILA: Honda Philippines has officially rolled out the all-new Dio motorcycle that features a stylish design and various functional features.
The Dio is known as a durable and multi-purpose scooter that is perfect for the daily commute and weekend trips. Its fun and modern look is highlighted by its three vibrant color variants: Candy Jazzy Blue, Sports Red, and Vibrant Orange. For optimum visibility, the Dio is equipped with an LED headlight and a position light.
The all-new Dio is powered by an air-cooled, 109cc, four-stroke single overhead cam (SOHC) engine that generates a maximum power of 5.89kW at 7,500rpm and a maximum torque of 8.91Nm at 5,000rpm. It can muster a fuel consumption rate of 58.3kpl.
The Dio also comes with an informative meter panel and a secure key shutter with seat opener. Hooks are mounted at the front and rear, where the rider can conveniently store supplies or items to bring.
The Dio is designed with a wide and comfortable dual seat with wide step floor. It is also equipped with a 14.4-liter capacity U-Box and steel rims with 10-inch tubeless tires that match with the front and rear drum brake system.
In a statement, Honda Philippines President Susumu Mitsuishi said, “As the latest addition to our motorcycle offerings, The all-new Dio is our way of helping everyone face today’s everyday challenges. People will surely love it because, with this multi-purpose scooter, they can always seize the day.”
The all-new Dio will be available in all Honda dealerships nationwide starting this month. It is priced at P49,000.
