Honda PH says Airblade160 can help beat long weekend rush

Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) expressed firm belief that its Airblade160 could help beat long weekend rush.

In a statement, the leading motorcycle manufacturer in the country said that the aforementioned scooter — launched August last year — offers a “convenient and hassle-free option” to avoid the anticipated mad rush during the long break for the commemoration of All Saints and All Souls’ Day as well as the Barangay Elections.

Powering the Honda Airblade160 is a 157 cubic-centimeter, four-valve, single overhead cam, liquid-cooled engine with eSP+ (enhanced smart power plus) technology. The mill can dish out as much as 15 horsepower and 14.6 Newton-meters of torque.

In addition, the engine has a 47.5-kilometer-per-liter fuel efficiency rating that allows its rider to cover more roads with its 4.4-liter tank.

Smooth stopping power comes from its front hydraulic disc brake with anti-lock braking system.

Further, the motorcycle is also equipped with full-LED lighting system that offers improved visibility especially at night and a full digital meter panel that displays relevant data like speed, fuel consumption, among others.

Its security technologies include Honda Smart Key Answer Back System and Anti-Theft Alarm.

Those who would have the Honda Airblade160 will also enjoy features such as the 23.2-liter luggage box with built-in LED lamp and a charging port for mobile devices.

The Honda Airblade160 is priced at P125,900.
