Honda PH updates Click160, now made more affordable

MANILA: Honda Philippines Incorporated (HPI) has launched the new Click160.

Now wearing a more affordable price tag at P116,900, the scooter’s latest iteration is P6,000 cheaper than its predecessor, which retailed at P122,900. To, note, the nameplate entered the local market in 2022 with the same pricing.

Per the leading Japanese motorcycle in the country, the newest offering is more stylish and sportier designed to excite passionate motorcycle lovers’ senses.

Compared to the outgoing version, the new Honda Click160 wears bold decals at the side of the LED headlight — replacing the chrome company badge.

HPI’s new offering is being retailed in three two-tone color options: Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Matte Solar Red Metallic, and Matte Cosmo Silver Metallic.

Slightly taller than its previous version, the new Honda Click160 measures 1,929 millimeters (mm) long; 678 mm wide; and 1,088 mm in height with a 778-mm seat height; 1,278-mm wheelbase; and 138-mm ground clearance.

The refreshed version is powered by the potent 157 cubic-centimeter, four-stroke, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine with PGM-FI (programmed fuel injection) system, eSP+ (Enhanced Smart Power Plus) technology, and Idling Stop System.

Per HPI, the new Honda Click160 can clock 46.7 kilometers per liter based on World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC) standards.

Smooth stopping is guaranteed by the combined braking system (CBS).

Its host of amenities include a Type A USB charger, smart key switch, anti-theft alarm, park brake lock, and a full digital meter panel.

Its luggage box has an 18-liters storage capacity.
