Honda Winner X shines at Cebu City test ride experience

MANILA: The Honda Winner X was highlighted during the brand’s recently held test ride experience at Cebu City.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What powers the Honda Winner X?

The Honda Winner X is powered by a 149 cc engine with a six-speed manual transmission.
  • How many variants does the Honda Winner X have?

The Honda Winner X has three variants: Standard, ABS Premium, and ABS Standard.
  • Per Honda Philippines Incorporated (HPI), the event — dubbed the Winner Xperience Ride — showcased a complete display of the Winner 149 cubic centimeter (cc) underbone motorcycle, now considered the marque’s hottest models in the country.

    Honda Winner X specs

The Honda Winner X — as briefly mentioned earlier — is equipped with a 149 cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, four-valve, double overhead camshaft engine mated to a manual six-speed constant mesh transmission system.

It produces some 15 horsepower with 13.5 Newton-meters of torque.

According to the local wing of the Japanese motorcycle brand, it clocks in at 52.3 kilometers per hour based on World Motorcycle Test Cycle standards.

The Honda Winner X is also equipped with an all-LED lighting system, which gives would-be owners added peace and safety, especially when riding for long hours. Its sharp and aggressive fairings evoke sporty and spirited riding.

Adding a touch of luxury is a pair of gold cast wheels that measure 17 inches in diameter and are shod in 90/80 tires at the front and 120/70 rubber at the rear. These are connected to telescopic front forks and a single cylindrical suspension system.

Facilitating deceleration and halting are hydraulic disc brakes, front and back. The ABS Racing and ABS Premium variants of the Honda Winner X also get anti-lock braking, which prevents the wheels from locking to improve stability and safety.

The Honda Winner X is also perfect for Filipino riders thanks to its decent size. Overall, it measures 2,091 millimeters (mm) long, 725 mm wide, and 12,104 mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 1,278 mm and clears the ground by 151 mm. Further, it has a seat height of 795 mm, which is why it suits both male and female riders.

    Variants, pricing

Below are the three variants of the Honda Winner X:

    • Standard: P123,900
    • ABS Premium: P129,900
    • ABS Racing: P131,900
