In a statement, the company shared that the aforementioned offerings sport an updated styling and are more loaded with technical features in its bid to cement its status as the “representative of Italian style and elegance in the world.”
Per Vespa Philippines, the new Primavera and Sprint retained their current dimensions and engines but bolstered their “exclusivity and premium feel” by improving range differentiation and providing different aesthetic elements.
“The new Vespa Sprint and Primavera 2024 are a harmonious combination of timeless, state-of-the-art design and the latest technological equipment, pleased to gratify each unique personality,” the firm noted.
Considered as the simplest model in the lineup, the new Primavera served as the brand’s “original elegance” — catering to “those who require pure, authentic, and straightforward Vespa vibe.”
Retailed with a P210,000 price tag, the new Vespa Primavera is offered in White Innocenza, Green Relax, Orange Tramonto, Grey Materia, and Blue Deep.
Meanwhile, the Vespa Primavera S, comes with updated looks and comes with features that make the usage more comfortable.
The offering’s new look boasts dedicated finishes and graphics that add exclusive playfulness to pure functionality.
Available in Beige Sabbia, Blue Capri, Yellow Mimosa and Green Kiwi, the latest Vespa Primavera S range is priced at P220,000.
The Vespa Sprint’s newest interpretation continues to be bold and dynamic to meet the demands of those who are young and young-at-heart.
The aforementioned motorcycle can be had Green Tenace, Grey Materia, and Yellow Mimosa color options and can be purchased for P230,000.
Lastly, the 2024 Vespa Sprint S can be distinguished, thanks to its striking red and black sticker that complements its powerful and athletic spirit.
In the Philippines, Vespa Sprint S is available in five colors: Black Convinto, Orange Tramonto, White Innocenza, Green Ambizioso, and Blue Eclettico. Each shade is paired with dedicated graphics and bold black details, with either a matte finish, in the case of the traditional steering cover for example, or a polished look, like the wheels. It is priced at P240,000.
All the said models are fitted with redesigned tie and grid design, with new air vents and details. They also come with new dashboards, handlebars, and backshields for better ergonomics and functionality.
In addition, the Vespa Primavera sits on five spoke gray rims while the Sprint S, six-spoke glossy pastel black rims with spiral patterns.
The motorcycles are also fitted with a full-LED lighting system, anti-theft system (immobilizer), anti-lock braking system at the front discs, and a USB charging port.
Their instrument panels are characterized by a three-inch analog-LCD display.
Vespa Day 2024 celebration
The launch of the motorcycles, and the Vespa Day 2024 celebration (which celebrated the marque’s 78th year) over the weekend gathered the enthusiasts and from all over the country for a day of festivities.
Held in The Tent at Villar City in Las Piñas, the event saw a community ride with various groups and Vespa executives, test rides and game booths, as well as overflowing food and drinks.
“Vespa is more than just a vehicle; it's a lifestyle choice that resonates with the values of our vibrant community. As we gather at Vespa Day, we're not just sharing the road; we're sharing experiences, stories, and a passion that connects us all,” Piaggio Asia Pacific Marketing Head Nicola Capello said at the event. “Today, we celebrate not just a scooter, but a symbol of style, freedom, and a rich heritage that has stood the test of time.”
