This range has got two offerings - Yamaha Xmax and Yamaha Nmax. The former is more powerful and heavy on the pocket, whereas the latter is preferred by many because of its easy rideability and affordability. Engine

It has a V-belt automatic transmission.

Yamaha has also included its Blue Core technology in this engine which helps it to be more efficient. Another latest and interesting feature of this engine is Yamaha’s Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology. This system adjusts the fuel intake at predetermined revs, thereby providing with very strong torque in the lower rev range and a high burst of power at high speeds.

Braking performance

The Nmax comes with disc brakes on both its wheels. While this is already an added advantage over other scooters of the segment, Yamaha has also provided Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as optional. In a crowded country like ours, we highly recommend getting the ABS version. The Yamaha Nmax 2019 price for the standard version is Php 109,000 whereas the ABS model costs a bit more and will set you back by Php 119,000. But no amount of money is worth your life, so save some more and bring home the ABS model.

Large compartment

The under seat storage compartment of the Nmax is more than sufficient to keep your things handy. It can even accommodate a full-size helmet. Of course, there would be some helmets with an unusual shape that won’t fit in.

Stylish LCD dash

The LCD dash or instrument cluster of the Nmax is very well designed. It is simple yet informative. Its mono eye display is easily legible even in broad daylight. It is small in size, but Yamaha has done an excellent job in organising the information that’s being displayed.

Comfort

To make sure that the rider, as well as the pillion, is in comfort at all times, the Yamaha Nmax 2019 comes with a large premium seat. It has got a nice shape which enhances the comfort level. Also, the seat height is pretty low at 765 mm hence even shorter riders to be in a state of comfort. Another great thing about the Nmax is its riding stance. Yamaha has kept the handlebar position perfect which gives the rider an upright riding stance reducing any major stress on his/her back or spine. This, in turn, makes riding the Nmax even for longer distances much easier.

Dynamic looks

Yamaha tends to give its scooters a very dynamic and modern design. And the Nmax is no exception. It is a stylish and premium scooter that shows off its sharp and attractive LED headlamp. The triple lamp setup enhances low-light visibility. We also have a pair of clear turn signals that gives a good contrast irrespective of the color of the scooter.

The large windscreen is not only an added advantage to cut away wind blast at high speeds, but it also serves as a style element. The rear end gets an LED tail light which is horizontally laid out and also incorporated the turn signals.
