Yamaha unveils new XMax Tech Max in Thailand

MANILA: Yamaha Motor Thailand has revealed the new XMax Tech Max in its local market.

The new XMax model was first teased in a video uploaded by Yamaha Motor Thailand on Youtube on Saturday.

Promising to deliver the “next level of riding,” the new XMax Tech Max comes with model-exclusive seat design, handle grips, and aluminum footplates.

The motorcycle has an overall length of 2,180 millimeters (mm), an overall width of 795 mm, an overall height of 1,460 mm, a seat height of 795 mm, and a wheelbase of 1,540 mm.

Powering the XMax Tech Max is a 300-cubic-capacity single-cylinder four-stroke, four-valve Blue Core engine.

The XMax Tech Max is also equipped with a new Ohlins limited-edition premium sport shock absorber and a traction control system.

Other notable features include X-motif full LED headlights and taillights, a 4.2-inch thin-film transistor infotainment color display, a 3.2-inch digital speedometer, a smart key system, a 12-volt accessory power socket, and an underseat storage that can fit two full-face helmets.

In the Philippines, the XMax is currently offered in a standard version. There is no announcement yet from Yamaha Motor Philippines on whether the Tech Max model will brought to the country.
