Yeng Constatino gets a Vespa S 125

MANILA: Pop-rock singer Yeng Constatino recently got a new Vespa S 125.

Constatino posted her new scooter on Instagram, sharing that she won it in a raffle.

“Madalas malas ako sa mga ganito, pero this time, nanalo ako sa raffle at Vespa pa (I am often unlucky with things like this, but this time, I won a raffle and it’s a Vespa),” the OPM artist wrote in her caption.

The S 125 is a representation of a youthful, dynamic and modern way of living. It is designed to be a practical and unique ride for daily commute.

It has an overall length of 1,770 millimeters (mm), an overall width of 705 mm, a seat height of 785 mm, and a wheelbase of 1,280 mm.

Powering the S 125 is a 125-cubic-capacity single-cylinder four-stroke, three-valve engine that churns out 10 horsepower and 10.2 Newton-meters of torque. It is mated to a continuously variable transmission.

The S 125 comes with a single-arm brake with helical spring and single double-acting hydraulic shock absorber in the front and shock absorber with adjustable preload in the rear. It is fitted with a 11-inch tubeless tire in the front and a 10-inch tubeless tire in the rear.

Giving the scooter an even more dynamic appearance is its front tie and rectangular LED headlight. The instrument panel also provides high visibility under all lighting conditions.

Although the saddle has a flat and narrow tip, it still has enough size and padding to ensure those of average height a pleasant ride.

The S 125 won by Constantino is finished in Nero Elegante. The scooter is also available in four other colors: Rosso Coraggioso, Bianco Innocente, Arancio Taormina, and Giallo Irriverente.

It is designed with racetrack-inspired graphics that accentuate its sporting nature with every move.

The S 125 has a retail price of P160,000.

Aside from winning a new Vespa, Constantino also previously shared on social media that she purchased her dream car, a Mini 3-Door Cooper S, in October.

Constantino rose to fame after becoming the first winner of reality talent show “Pinoy Dream Academy.” Some of her hits are “Hawak Kamay,” “Chinito,” and “Ikaw.”
