BYD L3

The interiors of the BYD L3 are perfectly crafted to meet all family needs with ergonomic controls and comfortable seating. L3 comes in two-tone interior with dark gray and beige. The car has a four-spoke steering wheel that is pre-loaded with audio control over it for enhanced ergonomics. The central console of the car features a 7-inch 2-DIN multi-media system that has AM/FM, DVD and CD player, USB and AUX features. The L3 boasts a spacious cabin to easily accommodate five passengers with ample of leg and headroom. Apart from these, the car also features centralized 4-door control, HM control panel and optional navigation system.

BYD has done complete justice to the car in terms of its exterior designing. The car features a sporty front fascia with perfectly chiseled front fog lamps. The front design is also powered up by a chrome radiator grill embedded with a BYD emblem. The L3 Sedan is powered by a 16 valve SOHC 1.5-litre engine coupled with the variable valve lift (VVL) and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) technology. This allows the L3 to meet the power requirements along with excellent fuel efficiency. The 1.5-litre engine under the hood churns out a peak power of 107 hp at 5800 rpm along with a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4800 rpm. This immense power allows the L3 to easily hit a top speed mark of 170 kmph while delivering a fuel efficiency of 16 kmpl under standard conditions.

BYD has completely taken care the safety front of this car. The car comes with a unique impact protection offering twin SRS airbags and 3-point seatbelts for all five passengers. On the braking front, the car features Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) that is highly efficient to stop the speeding car in adverse conditions. Apart from this, the L3 is also loaded with Variable Multiple Power-Steering, Hydraulic assistance that variably decreases as the vehicle accelerates, enhancing the steering inputs and making the handling more precise at higher speeds.
