Lethargic performance
I purchased GAC Emkoo after test-driving Macau, GLB, and Q5. It was a tough decision to select the best one among them, but Emkoo definitely stood out with its dynamic styling and sporty interior. But after riding it for around 3 months, I can say that I took the decision in haste as its on-road dynamics are not that good. It misses the instant response, and the engine takes time to apply the requested throttle input. On the ride front, it doesn't set my heart alight. While it doesn't crash over potholes and bumps, it is not compliant either.
