I must admit I was very nervous about buying the Hongqi E-HS9 as I had never driven such a large electric vehicle before. It looked good during the test drive, but it's hard to figure out everything about a vehicle on the first ride. But this 7-seater has not troubled me in the last eight months. Despite its massive size, the acceleration is good. The air suspension offers a smooth ride. But the text-heavy infotainment touchscreen is difficult to use, and the material quality of the interior is cheap.
