I was really very surprised by how quick the Suzuki Swift is for a 1-litre model. As the potential first car for my son, I took it for a test drive but eventually ordered one for myself because it enhanced the joy while driving. It’s not like an old-school 1-litre vehicle. Its handling is quite good but over potholes and speed bumps, it struggles a bit. I’m getting an average of about 49.6 mpg in winter and 53 mpg in the summer making it ideal for my short trips. Due to its small tank, filling up is inexpensive. Although inside there are a few plastic interior elements, it’s well-made and comfortable.
