Being a Volvo fan, I can understand the expectations one has from the Swedish carmaker when it comes to compact SUVs. But trust me when I say this that Volvo XC40 is the best premium compact SUV you can ever own. There are so many positive things that I can list about this car but it would take a lot of time. To cut it short, the XC40 is an ideal example of how a compact SUV should be. It has got boxy yet stylish design, lavish and spacious interior, powerful 2.0-litre engine coupled to an 8-speed transmission and an advanced safety package. What more does one want?
