Keeway SIP 125

The Keeway SIP 125 comes with the stylish design that makes the scooter stand out from the crowd. It has a halogen type headlamp and features indicator light. Also, bulb type tail lamp is present at the rear. It has a roomy riding position, two-person saddle, low-vibration ride, wide mirrors, which make it easy to ride.

The bike comes with lightweight cast-alloy wheels, that measure 14-inch. These are wrapped with grippy street-oriented radial tires. Moreover, it has a 4.9-litre fuel tank.

Coming to the console, the scooter comes with analogue type odometer, speedometer, and fuel gauge. It has a length of 1,817 mm and width of 668 mm. It is built on a wheelbase of 1,277 mm.

The Keeway SIP 125 has two different start options as Kick and Electric. So, while standing in the busy traffic the rider can easily switch on the bike using by taping the electric start button. The bike is built on the Chine type body frame.

At the front, there is telescopic coil spring oil damped of 80 meters that does the suspension duties, while the 85 meters telescopic fork is present at the rear.

It has a ground clearance of 137 mm, which is quite good. The rider will not have to worry of damaging the two-wheeler while driving in the bad terrains or in bumpy roads.

The Keeway SIP 125 is equipped with 123.6cc engine, which provides a good performance during commutation in the cities. The single cylinder, 4-stroke, 2-valve, air-cooled, SOHC engine churns out a maximum power of 8.04 hp and the peak torque sticks at 9 Nm. The maximum power and the peak torque come at 7,500 rpm and 6,500 rpm, respectively.

The engine is coupled to the CVT gearbox. The engine provides quite a good performance. However, the maximum power and torque come at a pretty high rev range. It uses gasoline as the fuel, which is injected by the Carburetor. It has the DC-CDI ignition system.

The Keeway SIP 125 comes with a disc brake at the front, while the rear wheel gets the drum brake. Both the brakes are quite efficient and provide good stopping power. However, the scooter lacks ABS (Anti-lock braking system). Though being a scooter, the two-wheeler’s top speed is not that high.

The bike does not have the safety and security features including the pass switch, side reflectors, stability control, traction control, Anti-theft alarm, etc.

The decent seat height of 755 mm assures that the rider of all the sizes can ride the scooter. Even the rider who has the short height can also place its foot firmly on the ground while seating in the bike. It has a kerb weight 95 kgs so handling the scooter will not be a major problem.

The Keeway SIP 125 is a perfect scooter to commute in the city. The scooter comes with good styling all over the body. Its ground clearance is quite impressive and has a great braking setup. The suspension is quite good that provides a comfortable ride.
