For a scooter of its size and price, the Skygo Blink 125 gets a decent amount of sportiness, which should go well with the younger set of buyers. This affordable scooter from Skygo has a few sleek lines and edges all around its profile, which makes it a sharp-looking scooter.

The Skygo Blink 125's front apron looks sharp and compact and accommodates the large lotus-themed headlamp cluster over much of its entire portion. This headlamp unit on the scooter's slanted and sleek-looking front apron is a three-part cluster, with a centrally mounted headlight and clear lens turn indicators to its sides. The upper part of the front apron has a W-shaped blacked-out garnish, while the headlamp cowl also has an edgy appearance with its central part blacked out. 

The front mudguard of the Skygo Blink 125 also has a bulged-out design from the middle, with sleek lines flowing along the sides of the central part. This mudguard, along with the V-shaped side panels, is finished in a theme of black with mild graphics. The floorboard of the Blink 125 looks small and is not roomy enough for taller riders, for their knees can scrape the panel ahead of them. 

The rear side body panels of the Skygo Blink 125 look sleek and are free of sharp character lines or creases, but they do get sporty graphics to keep the theme of sportiness and sharpness intact. These angularly-placed side panels flow towards the compact tail lamp cluster at the back, which also has clear-lens units for the centrally-placed tail light and turn indicators beside it. The five-spoke alloy wheels and the long exhaust pipe of the scooter are finished in a theme of black, with the wheels having a white pinstriping job around them.

The Skygo Blink 125 has a very basic instrument console, which is an all-analogue affair with a speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge, along with warning lights. There are not many comfort and convenience features on offer in the Blink 125, for it is a scooter made on a budget. For this reason, somehow, even the build quality and fit and finish levels are not up to the mark of its Japanese rivals, which feel better put together in comparison. 

The light kerb weight of the Skygo Blink 125 gives it another advantage in the form of agility and easiness in its handling. The Blink 125 comes with a suspension combination of telescopic forks at the front and a single-sided hydraulic coil spring at the rear. Along with 14-inch wheels shod with 80/90-14 tyre at the front and 90/90-14 tyre at the rear, the slightly stiffer suspension setup of the Skygo Blink 125 gives it a nice feeling of agility at lower speeds and around corners. The braking unit of the Skygo Blink 125 is pretty basic, with the scooter getting a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.

The Skygo Blink 125 is powered by a four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 124.6cc engine, which is paired with a basic, conventional V-belt automatic transmission. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 8.7 bhp and a peak torque output of 8.5 Nm. For a 125cc engine, these performance outputs might seem a bit below average, but considering the lightweight nature of the scooter, it feels decently quick in the rear world. However, the refinement levels of this engine are not as smooth as its rivals from Japan.

For a cheap scooter which is built to a cost, we were not expecting the Skygo Blink 125 to have premium safety features. And it doesn’t get any, though it has a lockable storage compartment beneath its seat, much like all the other conventional and new-age scooters. 

The Skygo Blink 125 might not feel premium and desirable, but it is a decent option for those who want a basic commuting solution with good enough styling and easy handling at an affordable price point.
