Here are the Hyundai Creta's 4 diverse color options

The Hyundai Creta is the South Korean brand’s entry into the Philippine subcompact crossover market segment.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What are the four color options of the Philippine-spec Hyundai Creta?

The four color options of the Philippine-spec Hyundai Creta are Dragon Red, Midnight Black, Creamy White, and Magnetic Silver.
  • What is the price range of the Hyundai Creta in the Philippines?

In the Philippines, the Hyundai Creta has a price ranging from P1.048 million-P1.388 million.
  • To face its competitors, the five-seater model received plenty of features that may prove to be attractive to a lot of would-be car buyers.

Its exterior, for instance, sports a sharp and modern design highlighted by its Paremetric Jewel Pattern Grille, hidden LED daytime running lamps, and diamond-cut 17-inch wheels. The interior of the model, meanwhile, is filled to the brim with creature comforts such as leather upholstery, a spacious trunk, and sizable digital displays, among others.

Plus, it utilizes a relatively peppy 1.5-liter mill capable of producing up to 113 horsepower and 144 Newton-meters of torque,

The crossover model, however, has a total of four exterior color options available. So, the question now is: how do these hues affect the look and feel of the Hyundai Creta? Let us find out.

    Dragon Red

The loudest color available for the Philippine-spec Creta is called Dragon Red. Per its name, it gives the small crossover plenty of personality by giving it a visually appealing and slightly sporty look.

Due to how bright the red hue is, it perfectly contrasts the black plastic claddings found on the vehicle’s wheel arches, rear bumper, and side skirts. It also makes the model’s black and silver wheels, as well as its silver-colored C-pillar trim piece, pop out more.

Likewise, the vehicle’s numerous blacked-out exterior parts, including its A and B pillars and sleek-looking grille, give a good contrast to the red color.

For folks who want their Creta to be seen and be more obvious amongst a sea of other cars in traffic, Dragon Red is the one to get. The other three hues for the model, after all, lean more towards the subtle side.

    Midnight Black

Serving as the polar opposite of Dragon Red is Midnight Black. It is the stealthiest available exterior color for the Creta, and it serves to hide all of the model’s black-colored exterior pieces.

The result is a more harmonious but quiet appearance. Still, it does retain some semblance of contrast bits from the front fascia’s silver-colored inserts, the silver-colored door handles, and the C-pillar’s silver-colored trim.

The dark hue can also hide most of the Creta’s character lines, which are mostly found surrounding its wheel arches and on its doors. Otherwise, it gives the five-seater a reflective and almost fluidic look, depending on the lighting situation.

As with most black-colored cars, prospective buyers should note that the Creta in Midnight Black may be harder to maintain compared to lighter hues. Dirt and paint imperfections may become more visible after all.

Folks who are fastidious in maintaining the black exterior of the vehicle, however, can enjoy a slick-looking crossover that can give off an atmosphere of sophistication.

    Magnetic Silver

One of the most neutral colors available to the Hyundai Creta is Magnetic Silver.

Silver, as most veteran car buyers will know, is quite a popular paint option in the Philippines and the global car market. As such, a Creta wearing the silver hue will likely blend in together with the multitudes of other silver-colored cars running around on our local roads.

In addition, the silver paint option for the Hyundai-made subcompact practically hides the silver-colored exterior trim pieces of the model.

Magnetic Silver, though, is far from ugly, as it can highlight the character lines of the vehicle. Plus, it is known to be easier to maintain, and some even say that it can make dirt and minor scratches less visible to onlookers.

    Creamy White

The fourth color of the Hyundai Creta is Creamy White.

As hinted by its name, it is the lightest hue available for the Hyundai model. Do note, though, that white is also a common color, but for the Creta, it equally highlights the model’s black-colored exterior pieces and silver-colored decorative parts.

Moreover, white can make any car visible in foggy or low-visibility situations. The only downside is it can become a magnet for dirt, paint imperfections, and other nasty paint-destroying substances like melted asphalt.

    Final thoughts

In summary, the four color options for the model mean that there is an option for everyone. Folks who are young (or young at heart) may be able to appreciate the liveliness of Dragon Red.

Meanwhile, people who want an elegant but slick ride may go for the Midnight Black. Those wanting a subtle-looking crossover, meanwhile, can also turn to Creamy White and Magnetic Silver.

People who are seriously considering the Hyundai Creta, though, are advised to see the vehicle in the metal and give it a test drive first. Doing so, after all, will help you find out if the vehicle really suits you or your family’s needs or not.
