Maxus D60 is a legit contender in the subcompact SUV segment
Maxus started the month on the right note with the launch of its newest entry in the crossover segment, the Maxus D60.
The D60 comes in two variants. Its higher trim, the D60 Elite, features a unique and stylish cobweb radiator grille. Meanwhile, the Maxus D60 Pro sports a black minimalist grille with silver headlight. For better visibility, both variants are equipped with daytime running lights (DRL) and rear fog lamp.
Maxus positions the D60 as a “passenger-first” vehicle as it offers a premium level of comfort to all its occupants. The D60 Elite can accommodate up to seven people in its cozy leather seats, while the D60 Pro is upholstered with fabric seats for five people. You can even stream your favorite driving playlist through the eight-inch touchscreen infotainment display with USB and Bluetooth connectivity feature.
The D60 is motivated by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine mated to a seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The vehicle’s powertrain delivers 167hp and 250Nm of torque. The Maxus D60 is capable of being maneuvered through any kind of terrain as it gets an FWD drivetrain that sends torque to all of the wheels for movement.
To guarantee that every occupant is well-protected, the D60 is equipped with dual front and side airbags. The SUV is also structured with a double layer welding technology, which provides extra rigidity in an unfortunate event of collision. The D60 is also installed with Isofix anchors to keep your little ones safe on the road.
For a smoother and more confident driving experience, the Maxus D60 carries additional safety technologies including electronic stabilization program, electronic brake assist (EBA), hill hold control (HHC), parking sensor, reverse camera, and tire pressure monitoring system.
To know more about the all-new Maxus D60, here the full specifications of its two variants.
