Invisible to the naked eye, ingress would appear to be a chore but open the door and voila, the running board deploys from just under the chassis to allow the passenger to step up comfortably. It flips right back after the doors are close.

Sync3
Displayed on an eight-inch color LCD (liquid crystal display) touchscreen system, it controls by voice command most everything essential during the drive like music (can browse through music collections by genre, album, artist, and song title), navigation, climate control, telephone functions and various apps.
It comes with 911 Assist that places a direct call to a 911 emergency hotline in the event of a serious accident with an airbag deployment.
Sync is fluent in English, Dutch, French, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese but has yet to learn Filipino.
Rotary dial shifter
Provides smoother control of the 10-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift capability. Move electronically and easily from Park to Reverse to Drive by simply rotating the dial.
Replacing the stick shifter also frees up a lot of space that cubby holes can storage spaces can now occupy.
Aside from knowing much more quickly what gear you’re in when you look at the shifter, the rotary is also a lot more artsy than the ordinary (shifter).

No longer shall you labor stowing the third-row seat away if you need the increase cargo space.
Whether you’re on the driver’s seat or standing in front of an open tailgate already, with a simple press of a button, the third-row will fold itself neatly into the floor to open up a cavernous space for whatever it is you’re loading.
Six USB ports
Who doesn’t have a device nowadays? You take photos for Facebook, Instagram, and even tweet about it.
Don’t worry about running out of juice because you can just plug into any of the six USB ports in the cabin.
110V/150W AC power outlet / four 12V power points
Maybe you have an old US-made shaver or any accessory made for the US market, well you can plug it in the 110V/150W outlet.
What passengers will appreciate is the four 12v power points. Just get yourself one of those USB adapters and you can keep your devices powered during the long drive.
Ambient lighting
Using Sync3, activate the ambient lighting feature and set the mood in the vehicle’s cabin by selecting one of several different accent colors. When activated with the headlamps on, ambient lighting illuminates foot wells, cup holders, and door release handles, among many others. The brightness setting can be adjusted to further personalize the interior.
Wireless charging pad
Forgot your cables? Well, forget your cables. If your phone is equipped with this technology, simply lay it on the wireless charging pad and forget about your mobile device ever losing power while you’re on the go and while you’re at it, forget about your cables, really, just forget about them.
Dual-zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (DEATC)
Ever been in a situation where the temperature’s just right for you but someone complains about it being too cold?
The Expedition has a fix for that and it’s called the Dual-zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control.
This allows you to select the temperature that you and your passenger each prefer. The system will maintain it with advanced air conditioning.

We’ve saved the best for last.
