Standard
The base MG G50 Plus model comes with useful appointments that cater to the needs of Filipino families.
Outside, it gets a chrome grille with body-colored trims and halogen headlights. It also has side turn signal lamps, a high-mount stop lamp, and a spoiler. It rides on 16-inch wheels shod in 205/60 tires.
Inside, the MG G50 Plus MPV are fabric seats, a polyurethane steering wheel, and a lever-type parking brake. It also has an instrument cluster with a multi-information display.
Power comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission, which produces some 178 horsepower (hp) with 285 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.
Safety features range from airbags and seatbelts to vehicle stability control, parking sensors, and a tire pressure monitor.
Comfort
As its name implies, the MG G50 Plus Comfort variant comes with features aimed at making the journeys of its occupants more comfortable.
Would-be owners can enjoy having LED daytime running lights, chrome side window frames, as well as power-fold and -adjust side mirrors.
They also get a leather steering wheel, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
Safety-wise, they now also get a backup camera and a vehicle security system.
Luxury
The range-topping MG G50 Plus Luxury model boasts top-tier features for its price. These include LED headlamps, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) seats with electric adjustment, captain’s chairs in the second row, and an automatic air conditioning unit.
It rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 215/55 tires.
