2022 Peugeot Traveller Premium now available. Comes with luxury amenities

MANILA: Peugeot's New local distributor, Astara has introduced the 2022 Peugeot Traveller Premium. Imported from France, the new van carries new styling tweaks, convenience and safety tech, as well as a P3.1 million price tag.

Astara announced that customers can now test drive the 2022 Traveller Premium at Peugeot dealerships, and that the company will present the vehicle at the 2022 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) this April for even more opportunities to see it.

In terms of styling, the 2022 Peugeot Traveller Premium wears a  grille with three-dimensional effect details and Xenon headlights with LED signature lighting. The van's exterior measures 5.30 meters, Astara said. 

The vehicle's length is said to translate to better cabin space. Inside the Traveller Premium, the three rows of seats are in a 2-2-3 configuration, while the second row captain chairs can swivel to face the third row. Each captain chair also comes with a retractable sliding table to provide occupants an area conducive to work.

 

To access the third row, a single control folds the second-row seat backs. Other features of the 2022 Peugeot Traveller Premium include leather seats, power sliding doors with hands-free access, and LED mood lighting. 

Automatic air conditioning with air vents up to the rear, a panoramic glass roof, sunshade curtains on all side windows, rear tailgate with opening window, and a 3.5-inch heads-up display add to the equipment list. 

For safety, the 2022 Peugeot Traveller Premium is equipped with front and rear parking sensors and 180-degree reversing camera.  The van further improves safety with Electronic Stability Program, Hill Climb Assist, Driver Attention Alert, and Cruise Control with Speed Limiter and Blind Spot Assist. 

Under the hood of the Traveller Premium is two-liter turbodiesel engine, which generates 150hp and 370Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed automatic. Complementing the drive is an electrohydraulic-assisted steering that optimizes the vehicle’s turning circle, Peugeot claims. 

The 2022 Peugeot Traveller Premium is offered in colors Bianca White, Artense Grey, and Nera Black. The van comes with a manufacturer warranty of three years or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first, and periodic checks for every 10,000
kilometers mileage interval.
