3 Hyundai vehicles included in Consumer Guide's 2023 Best Buy Awards

MANILA: The Consumer Guide's 2023 Best Buy Awards list includes the award-winning Hyundai Venue, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Hyundai Ioniq 5.

Each awarded vehicle embodies a range of exceptional qualities, including in-demand features, performance, comfort, fuel efficiency, a proven track record of dependability, and resale value. The Hyundai vehicles were recognized as Best Buys in the subcompact, compact, and midsize crossover categories.

“Hyundai is once again pleased to have products included as Consumer Guide Best Buys recognizing real-world driving preferences of consumers. Whether traveling to a local or faraway destination, Hyundai’s product lineup offers a wide array of desired features and advanced technologies matching consumers’ considerations,” Hyundai Motor North America Product Planning Director Ricky Lao stated.

A Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy embodies the best value and qualities in each respective class. With 41 Best Buys announced for 2023 across 18 categories, consumers will have no trouble making rational decisions.

“With the Venue, Santa Fe, and Ioniq 5, Hyundai demonstrates its ability to deliver value, mainstream excellence, and cutting-edge technology at the same time. It’s hard not to be impressed with how this brand is reshaping how Americans think about personal transportation,” Consumer Guide Publisher Tom Appel said.

The Hyundai Venue comes standard with power accessories, alloy wheels, an eight-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, keyless entry, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with steering assist, forward-collision assist with pedestrian detection.

The Hyundai Santa Fe, on the other hand, comes with advanced standard features such as Highway Driving Assist, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, dynamic voice recognition, and over-the-air map updates.

The US-spec Hyundai Santa Fe is offered with three powertrain options: a 191hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine; a 281hp, turbocharged engine; and a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder combined with an electric motor.

Meanwhile, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is the first model in Korean automaker’s Ioniq brand. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 features a long wheelbase, eco-friendly interior features, modern driver assistance and safety features, and a powerful performance with ultra-fast charging and a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function.
