Aero Edition and X-Tremer packages launched for X-Trail

KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has launched the Aero Edition and X-Tremer kits for the X-Trail. Also, both the kits can be installed in all the trims of the seven-seat SUV. For more visual appearance, these kits add on plenty of accessories, which come furnished from the factory.

Starting with the X-Tremer, it is offered to the buyers in three two-tone paint schemes – Brilliant White, Imperial Red, and Tungsten Silver. Along with that, you also get roof rails, rear spoiler, and a black roof. In addition to that, the black treatment is also provided to the 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, V-motion grille, Tomei aero kit, and the door mirrors.

Moving to the Aero Edition, it offers the same Tomei package and the gloss black 17-inch wheels if compared to the X-Tremer. However, there’s a silver finished provided to the wheels for a much sportier look. The kit is offered in three single-tone exterior finishes, which include Imperial Umber, Diamond Black, and Titanium Olive. Inside the cabin, a leatherette dashboard, brown Nappa leather upholstery for the seats, along with a knee pad and armrest are offered in both the packages.

The variants that get the Aero Edition and X-Tremer kits, including 2.5L 4WD, four-pot (top trims) churning out 171 PS of maximum power at 6,000 rpm and 233 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The 2.0L 2WD Mid and 2.0L 2WD four-cylinder motors (mid trims) that deliver 144 PS at 6,000 rpm and 200 Nm of peak torque at 4,400 rpm also support both the packages.

The pricing for the X-Tremer is RM140,888 on-the-road for 2.0L 2WD, RM152,888 for 2.0L 2WD Mid, RM160,888 for 2.5L 4WD and RM166,888 for the 2.0L Hybrid. However, the pricing for the Aero Edition is RM138,888 on-the-road for 2.0L 2WD, RM150,888 for 2.0L 2WD Mid, RM158,888 for 2.5L 4WD and RM164,888 for the 2.0L Hybrid. All the prices mentioned above are charged, excluding the insurance, and the packages offer a three-year/100,000-km warranty.
