All-new Isuzu D-Max to make its way out on October 11
MANILA: After all the spy shots, leaks, and rumours, the all-new Isuzu D-Max pickup will finally step on the podium on 11th of October 2019. The next-generation of the Japanese pickup truck, which is one of the more important products for the automaker, will come out vaunting a host of changes and updates. In terms of the design language, the trademark wide Isuzu grille flanked by LED headlamps with built-in U-shaped LED DRLs will make the front end of the pickup. Also, at the back, the updated pickup truck's bed is said to be taller than before.
Besides the exterior changes and other major developments, the newest iteration of the Japanese pickup will come underpinned by a brand new frame altogether. To be specific, the new D-Max will use the Mazda BT-50's platform. Considering the fact that the Mazda BT-50 is one of the larger pickup trucks out there in the market, we also expect the new Isuzu D-Max to sport bigger than before dimensions.
While speculations say that the updated D-Max may get the automaker's 1.9-litre RZ4E engine, there are also rumours of the pickup to receive an upgrade in the form of a slightly high capacity RZ4E model.
The arrival of the all-new Isuzu D-Max should also pave way for the next-generation mu-X. However, we do not expect the newest avatar of the SUV to come out before it's at least one or two years after the launch of the all-new D-Max.
