MANILA: After reaching a sales milestone in 2021, Kia Philippines is taking another step forward by introducing the all-new Carnival. The SUV-inspired style meets the space, comfort, and convenience of a grand utility vehicle (GUV), as what Kia calls it.

Kia guarantees that all of its models have a sense of style, and the all-new Carnival, with its overall large dimensions, is no exception. It features a powerful, elegant, and futuristic exterior that commands respect.

Its “island roof” supported by the C-pillar design exudes an sophisticated sculpted appearance, which meets the refined taste of the modern executive family man. The dual LED headlamps give it an added edge. The vehicle is also fitted with 19-inch alloy wheels, making it even more imposing. The all-new Carnival comes in in three colors: Snow White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, and Astra Blue.

It is powered by the new SmartStream 2.2 VGT CRDi engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It is also equipped with an eight-inch touchscreen audio with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity that allows hand-free accessibility with Voice Control. Other premium features include USB ports, wireless mobile phone charger, Drive Mode Select, and Electronic Parking Brake. Overall, these upgrades are a testament to Kia’s willingness to adapt.

One of the Drive Wise features in the all-new Carnival is the Forward Collision Avoidance Assist that gives an extra layer of frontal collision protection. Meanwhile, the Rear Cross Traffic Alert makes reverse moves safer. The Lane Keep & Following Assist helps the all-new Carnival stay in lane by automatically adjusting steering using lane marker sensors.

To further enhance the safety of all occupants, the Carnival also comes with a collision-avoidance system, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, fog lights, auto-dimming interior mirror, front and rear parking sensors, rear camera with dynamic guidelines, blind spot warning, cruise control, and seven airbags.

The Kia Carnival SX 8AT variant is now available for P2.988 million. The Kia Carnival EX 8AT variant will be rolled out on March, with an SRP of P2.54 million.
