KEY TAKEAWAYS
What are the highlight specs of the Audi e-tron, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT?
The e-tron and e-tron GT can travel a maximum estimated 400-plus kilometers with a full battery. The RS e-tron GT is the most powerful car Audi produced, with 598ps and 830Nm.What are the electrification goals of Audi?
Audi targets to offer more than 20 fully electric and 10 partially electric models in its lineup by 2025. Audi will exclusively produce fully electric vehicles starting in 2026. By 2033, Audi will phase out all internal combustion engines, and all Audi models will be purely electric. The e-tron is promised to offer the space, utility, and comfort of a full-size SUV. It is powered by two electric motors, outputting 408ps and 664Nm of torque — free of emissions while operating in near silence.
The model’s electric all-wheel drive quattro system guarantees superlative traction and handling on any terrain and weather condition by continuously distributing power between the two axles.
With a fully charged battery, the e-tron has an estimated range of more than 400 kilometers, thanks partly to an innovative energy recuperation system.
The e-tron carries a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Euro NCAP, and is also named a Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
Meanwhile, the e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT four-door coupés take Audi’s legendary quattro all-wheel drive system in the form of two electric motors fitted on their front and rear axles.
Combining a sleek design with a powerful drive, dynamic handling, and zero-emission powertrains, the Audi e-tron GT produces 476ps and 630Nm (and as much as 530ps in overboost).
The flagship RS e-tron GT — the most powerful production car Audi has ever made — delivers 598ps and 830Nm (or a maximum output of 646 PS in overboost). Both models can travel more than 400 kilometers when fully charged.
By launching more electric models than conventional cars last year, Audi is steadily increasing its range of premium EVs.
By 2025, the brand aims to have more than 20 fully electric and 10 partially electric models in its lineup. Starting in 2026, Audi will only launch new models that are fully electric. The company will gradually phase out production of its internal combustion engines by 2033, and from then on all Audi models will be purely electric.
To meet these targets, Audi has earmarked sizeable investments for electrification and hybridization.
Alongside this, Audi Philippines has also committed to various initiatives that lay the groundwork for the wider adoption of fully electric vehicles in the country, the company said in a release.
Among these initiatives are establishing dedicated service facilities for electric vehicles, continuously setting up a charging infrastructure, and partnering with stakeholders which promote ecologically conscientious practices.
